The Darien Police Department’s detective division is comprised of a lieutenant, sergeant and three investigators who are specially trained in disciplines and technical applications geared toward the detection, investigation and apprehension of criminal offenders.
The Detective Division is responsible for conducting criminal investigations for a wide range of offenses, including but not limited to Narcotic Violations, Burglary, Larceny, Robbery, Sexual Assault, Missing Persons, Child Abuse, Homicide, and Financial Crimes and Identity Theft.
