The arrests came after a lengthy investigative effort involving the Darien, Stamford, Wilton, Westport, Norwalk and Fairfield Police Departments. A task force was formed and it was determined that the same suspects were responsible for all of the robberies.
Based on information that Stamford Police Officers Miriam Delgado and Chris Broems received, MOCHOS was identified as a suspect. At that point the task force initiated a surveillance which resulted in confirmation as to MOCHOS’ involvement in the string of robberies.
On the afternoon of August 26th, the task force was aware MOCHOS had traveled to Harrison, NY and a short time later was informed a bank had been robbed in Harrison. Officers then learned MOCHOS was returning from New York and approximately thirty minutes later he was located in ScalziPark in Stamford. At that point MOCHOS was taken into custody without incident by Stamford and Darien Officers on the strength of an arrest warrant.

MOCHOS is being held as a Fugitive from Justice on a $1,000,000 Bond for the Harrison, NY robbery and was charged with Robbery 3rd Degree, Larceny 3rd Degree for the Wilton Robbery.
Further investigation on Wednesday evening resulted in the issuance of warrants and the subsequent arrest of CHRISTOPHER DAVIS for bank robberies in Stamford.
