7/11/2023 - Congratulations to Sgt. Vigil!
The Darien Police Department is pleased to announce that recently Sergeant Mauricio Vigil was honored with the 2023 Allen Ervin Memorial Scholarship presented by the Connecticut Police Foundation and Motorola Solutions. This $1000.00 scholarship is awarded to deserving police officers who are seeking advanced college degrees in the public safety field. Sgt. Vigil is currently enrolled in the Cybersecurity and Networking Master’s Degree program at the University of New Haven. Congratulations!
