The 2026 summer internship program allows college students an opportunity to personally evaluate the profession of law enforcement. The Darien Police Department will make every attempt to allow students the opportunity to experience aspect of our agency including but not limited to patrol functions, traffic safety and enforcement, investigative functions, records and evidence management, communications functions, marine responsibilities (seasonal availability), animal control, administrative functions and more.
