Darien, CT –Darien Police Officer Louis Moura has partnered with Holmes School Elementary School, which is conducting a book drive for Cesar Batalla School in Bridgeport. Officer Moura, who is a former Bridgeport Police Officer and current School Liaison Officer to Holmes School, learned of this opportunity and immediately petitioned the police department for assistance.  Officer Moura has coordinated this effort with Holmes School Librarian and Student Council Advisor Dyan Gonzales, who initiated the effort under the direction of the Student Council.  The books will be delivered to Cesar Batalla School on May 6th, 2016.
